The 2026 Škoda Kushaq Facelift has arrived with a comprehensive makeover — sharper design, more features, a bigger boot, and the same 5-star safety that Škoda is known for. Revealed in January 2026, the new Kushaq is now available for pre-booking and deliveries begin in March 2026.
Here is everything that has changed in the new Kushaq and why it deserves a spot on your shortlist.
What Has Changed in the 2026 Kushaq Facelift?
Exterior Design
The facelifted Kushaq gets a bold new face with revised LED headlights, a segmented light strip on the grille inspired by the Kodiaq, tweaked bumpers, new alloy wheel designs, and connected LED tail-lights with illuminated Škoda lettering at the rear. The Monte Carlo variant receives an all-black treatment with red accents for a sportier look.
Interior & Technology
Inside, the cabin has been significantly upgraded with a 10.25-inch digital cockpit and a 10.07-inch infotainment screen with Google AI companion. Comfort features include six-way electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation, rear massage seats, and leatherette upholstery. A panoramic sunroof is available on higher trims, while even the base variant gets an electric sunroof.
Bigger Boot
One of the most practical upgrades is the increased boot space — the new Kushaq offers 491 litres, a substantial increase of 106 litres over the outgoing model.
Engine & Transmission Options
The Kushaq facelift retains its proven turbo-petrol powertrains:
| Engine | Power | Torque | Transmission |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.0L TSI Turbo-Petrol | 115 PS | 178 Nm | 6-speed MT / New 8-speed AT |
| 1.5L TSI Turbo-Petrol | 150 PS | 250 Nm | 6-speed MT / 7-speed DSG |
The headline here is the new 8-speed torque converter automatic on the 1.0 TSI, replacing the old 6-speed unit for smoother shifts and better fuel efficiency.
Safety — Still 5-Star Rated
The Kushaq continues to carry its 5-star Global NCAP safety rating — a benchmark it set back in 2022 when it became the first made-in-India car to achieve this under the stricter new protocols. The facelift adds over 40 safety features on higher trims, including 6 standard airbags, ESC, traction control, and multi-collision braking.
Expected Price
The 2026 Škoda Kushaq facelift is expected to be priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom), making it competitive against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the upcoming Renault Duster.
